Palms Casino recently became the first Las Vegas casino in the past year to introduce Aristocrat Gaming’s Buffalo Zone, a special area of the gaming floor with nearly 50 slot machines that feature 10 different buffalo-themed Aristocrat slots.
Scott McDermott, the Palms Director of Slot Operations, stated in a statement that the gaming area should be a place that slots patrons of the casino particularly enjoy spending time in.

Then, in May 2023, West Virginia’s Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack opened an Aristocrat lounge with more than 100 slots, including Dragon Link, Lighting Link, and several options from the Buffalo franchise.
During the company’s half-year earnings call, it was revealed that Aristocrat’s push to become a household name in the US slots market had boosted its penetration by more than 14% in Class III gaming, with over 33,700 units now in operation in North American casinos.
The company’s expertise in slot machines earned it respect from the industry, and its hard work was rewarded in 2023 when Aristocrat won the Best Overall Slots Content award at the EKG Slot Awards. Moreover, it won six out of the twelve land-based gaming awards for which it was eligible.
