TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Netmeds Refer & Earn Programme

The following Terms and conditions of the Netmeds Refer & Earn Programme (“the Programme”) constitute the agreement between Netmeds.com and both our existing customers (“Referrers”) and the friends they refer (“Referred Friends”) in the context of the Programme.

1. Eligibility:As part of the programme, to refer friends, the referrer, must be a registered customer on Netmeds.com. Referred Friend must be a new customer to Netmeds.com and should not have already signed up with us under any email address.
2. Refer & Earn - Rewards Outline: Refer your friends to Netmeds and they'll get Flat 20% OFF on Medicines (pre-paid/COD order) and 20% NMS Supercash (pre-paid, medicine order) on their First Purchase worth a minimum of Rs. 500 or more on Netmeds. You, the Referrer/Existing customer, get a Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash after your friend’s first order is delivered.
3. How to Refer:

Step 1: To Refer Your Friend(s), you must log in to your account and go to Refer & Earn section.

Step 2:  Share your referral code on display to your friend by clicking on the referral link ‘Tap to share Code with your friends’.

Step 3: After you click the link, select the option you want to share such as WhatsApp/SMS or others to send your referral code along with the Netmeds app download link. Now a message will be sent to your friend on your behalf, including your Referral code as well as the Netmeds app download link.

NOTE: A maximum of 25 Referral rewards are only allowed per registered customer.

4. What “the Referred Friends” Get: When the friend you referred places the first order using your referral code (unlimited validity), he/she will receive a Flat 20% off ONLY on the FIRST ‘Pre-Paid/COD’ order of Medicinesworth a minimum of Rs. 500 or more. PLUS, your friend is also entitled to receive a 20% NMS SuperCash after the successful delivery of the first ‘Pre-Paid-only’ medicine order worth Rs. 500 or more. The validity of 20% NMS SuperCash is 45 days from the date of credit. 

• What “the Referrers” Get: After your friend’s first order is delivered, we will credit your NMS e-Wallet with Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash, which is applicable for a maximum of 25 successful Referrals only. The Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash can be redeemed on pre-paid order of medicines only. Also the 150 NMS SuperCash can be redeemed ONLY for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period (45 days from the date of credit) of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount.

5. Referred Friends – Reward: Terms and Conditions
   • How to get Flat 20% discount on Medicines + 20% NMS SuperCash

Step 1: Sign up, add medicines to your cart and apply the referral Coupon Code (shared by the Referrer/Existing customer) at the shopping cart page. NOTE: A minimum order of medicines (along with ANY other products, including OTC products, Eye wear or Groceries) worth Rs. 500 is required to be eligible for the Flat 20% discount on medicines and a 20% NMS SuperCash.   

Step 2: You get an immediate 20% discount (max discount: Rs. 5000) on ‘Pre-paid/COD’ order of medicines worth Rs. 500 or more. Also, upon the delivery of your (pre-paid only) medicine order worth Rs. 500 or more, you will get a credit of 20% NMS SuperCash* (max cashback: Rs. 3000) to your NMS wallet. 

• Note: The 20% NMS SuperCash is eligible on fully Pre-paid medicine orders only (not valid if partly paid by COD). COD orders are not eligible for 20% NMS SuperCash.
• *The 20% NMS SuperCash wallet amount can be used to redeem on medicines only. Also the 20% NMS SuperCash can be redeemed ONLY for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period (45 days from the date of credit) of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount. NOTE: NO other coupon code/e-voucher discounts or promotional offers can be applied for the orders where the NMS SuperCash wallet amount is redeemed.
• If your prepaid order of medicines (along with ANY other products) worth Rs. 500 is reduced to LESS THAN Rs. 500 once the Referral coupon code discount is applied, then such order will NOT qualify for the Cashback. So, the Net Amount Payable for such order, AFTER the application of the Referral coupon code discount, should be Rs. 500 or more to receive the 20% NMS SuperCash.

 (ii) Key points on Flat 20% discount on Medicines + 20% NMS SuperCash

• The referral code to get Flat 20% discount on Medicines + 20% NMS SuperCash is meant for SINGLE use only, and can be used ONLY towards the first purchase made by the Referred friend. Note: The Referral codes do not expire. The Referral code discount cannot be combined with any other offers or coupon discounts. The referral code is valid on orders placed via Netmeds.com website or Netmeds app.
• While the FLAT 20% discount (max discount Rs. 5000) is valid on Pre-Paid/COD order of all Medicines, the 20% NMS SuperCash is valid ONLY on Pre-Paid order of Medicines.
• Some of the selected medicines, including eyewear, are ONLY eligible for max. 10% discount, and so Flat 20% discount CANNOT be applied for the same. NOTE: The maximum discount for flat 20% OFF medicines is capped at Rs. 5000.
• A minimum order of medicines (along with ANY other products, including OTC products, Eye wear or Groceries) worth Rs. 500 is required to be eligible for the Flat 20% discount on medicines and a 20% NMS SuperCash.
• If the order has both prescription medicines and non-prescription products, then the Flat 20% discount will be applicable on the total value of the prescription medicines ONLY (excluding ALL Ayurveda medicines, OTC & FMCG products).
• Shipping Charges are not covered by the referral code discount, and Regular shipping charges will apply on ALL orders. Regular shipping charges are as follows: Delivery charges for orders up to Rs. 149.99 is Rs. 50 and charges for order value between Rs. 150 and Rs. 999.99 is Rs. 25; FREE Delivery on orders of Rs. 1000 or more.
• The referral code discount is not redeemable for cash or credit, and cannot be exchanged for any other product.

(iii) Points to note – About 20% NMS SuperCash

• The 20% NMS SuperCash will be credited in to the Referred Friend’s Netmeds e-Wallet account ONLY after the pre-paid order (placed using the referral coupon code) is delivered.
• The maximum cashback amount (20% NMS SuperCash) is capped at Rs. 3000 per transaction. The validity of the NMS SuperCash is 45 days from the date of credit.
• The 20% NMS SuperCash wallet amount can be used to redeem on pre=paid order of medicines only. Also the 20% NMS SuperCash can be redeemed ONLY for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period (45 days from the date of credit) of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount.
• The 20% NMS SuperCash is calculated based on the post-discounted value, which is obtained after deducting 20% discount amount from your total prescription order amount.

For example: If your prescription order amount is Rs. 1000, you get an immediate discount of Rs. 200. Upon the delivery of your pre-paid medicine order, a cashback of Rs. 160 (20% of post-discounted value of Rs. 800 [1000-200]) as NMS SuperCash will be credited in to your NMS wallet.

• If the order has both prescription medicines and non-prescription products, then the 20% NMS SuperCash offer will be applicable ONLY for the total value of prescription medicines. Also, the 20% NMS SuperCash will not be offered for the “Shipping Charge” portion of the payment for the eligible orders.
• The 20% NMS SuperCash is eligible for the orders pre-paid through any of the following payment modes: (i) credit/debit card (ii) net banking (iii) available payment partner e-wallets (eg, Amazon Pay, Paytm or any others as available) alone or combined with any of the aforesaid payment method. COD orders are not eligible for 20% NMS SuperCash. The 20% NMS SuperCash will NOT be offered for the portion of the payment made using e-voucher code.

(iv) How to redeem 20% NMS SuperCash?

• Just follow these 3 easy steps to use/redeem your NMS SuperCash, after it has been credited to your Netmeds wallet account.
• Step 1: Add the Medicines to your cart.
• Step 2: At the Cart page, in the right-hand side, check “NMS SuperCash” button and the deduction of your NMS SuperCash will be immediately reflected, at the bottom, under the Payment details heading. Please note: The NMS SuperCash wallet amount can be redeemed only for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one pre-paid transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount.
• Step 3: Upload/attach Prescription.
• Step 4: Review order and complete payment.
• You should log in to your Netmeds account and check under the Netmeds SuperCash segment of your NMS Wallet to know the value of your NMS SuperCash, which will be credited once your pre-paid medicine order, placed using the referral coupon code, has been delivered. Please note that we will also notify you about the cashback credit amount via email as well as SMS once your order is delivered.
• Expiry of 20% NMS SuperCash Wallet Amount: The 20% cashback amount that has been credited to your Netmeds SuperCash wallet will expire 45 days from the date of credit.
• Any unused NMS SuperCash, pursuant to this offer, shall automatically lapse after 45 days from the credit date and shall stand forfeited.
• The NMS SuperCash wallet amount can be redeemed on fully Pre-paid Medicine orders only (not valid if partly paid by COD). Note: COD orders are not eligible for redemption of the cashback amount.
• Your earned 20% NMS SuperCash can be used to pay for your next medicine order along with any of the following pre-payment modes: (i) credit/debit card (ii) Net Banking (iii) NMS Cash or other available payment partner e-wallets (eg, Amazon Pay, Paytm or any others as available). NOTE: ANY other coupon code/e-voucher discounts or promotional offers CANNOT be applied for the orders where the NMS SuperCash wallet amount is redeemed.
• The NMS SuperCash can be redeemed on the purchase of Medicines ONLY.
• The NMS SuperCash CANNOT be redeemed on OTC & FMCG products.
• The NMS SuperCash wallet amount can be redeemed only for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount.
• NMS cashbacks will NOT be offered for the portion of the payment made using any existing NMS SuperCash wallet balance amount.
• Regular shipping charges will apply on ALL orders where the 20% NMS SuperCash amount (full or part) has been used to make payment. So Shipping Charges are EXTRA and cannot be paid using 20% NMS SuperCash amount.
• Regular shipping charges are as follows: Delivery charges for orders up to Rs. 149.99 is Rs. 50 and charges for order value between Rs. 150 and Rs. 999.99 is Rs. 25; FREE Delivery on orders of Rs. 1000 or more. 
• The NMS SuperCash wallet amount is non-replaceable and non-transferrable under any circumstances.
• The NMS SuperCash wallet amount is not redeemable for cash.
• For any reasons, an order placed using the 20% NMS SuperCash has been fully/partially cancelled within the validity period, the used-up NMS SuperCash amount, accordingly, will be credited back to the customer’s Netmeds e-wallet account.

6. Referrer Reward – Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash: Terms and Conditions

• The Referrer’s NMS e-wallet will be credited with Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash (cashback) after the Referred friend’s first order is delivered, and the referrer will be notified of the earned cashback Reward via SMS. Also, the Referrer can log in to Netmeds account and check under the NMS SuperCash segment of Wallet to know the credit of Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash.
• NOTE: The Referrer is entitled to receive Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash for a maximum of 25 successful Referrals only.  
• ORDER TYPE: The Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash can be redeemed on fully Pre-paid Medicine orders only (not valid if partly paid by COD). Note: COD orders are not eligible for redemption of the cashback amount.
• PRODUCT TYPE: The Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash can be redeemed on the purchase of Medicines ONLY. The NMS SuperCash CANNOT be redeemed on ALL Ayurvedic medicines, over-the-counter and FMCG products. If the order, where 150 NMS SuperCash is used for payment, has both prescription medicines and non-prescription products, then the Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash can be applied/redeemed on the total value of the prescription medicines ONLY (excluding ALL Ayurvedic medicines, OTC & FMCG products).
• REDEMPTION LIMIT: The 150 NMS SuperCash can be redeemed ONLY for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period (45 days from the date of credit) of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount.
• EXPIRY of Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash Wallet Amount: The Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash amount that has been credited to your NMS SuperCash wallet will expire 45 days from the date of credit.  
• Any unused Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash, pursuant to this Refer and earn programme, shall automatically lapse after 45 days from the credit date and shall stand forfeited.
• PAYMENT TYPE: Your earned Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash can be used to pay for your medicine order along with any of the following ‘pre-payment’ modes: (i) credit/debit card (ii) Net Banking (iii) NMS Cash or other available payment partner e-wallets (eg, Amazon Pay, Paytm or any others as available). NOTE: ANY other coupon code/e-voucher discounts or promotional offers CANNOT be applied for the orders where the NMS SuperCash wallet amount is redeemed. COD is not eligible for the orders where Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash is used for payment.
• Regular shipping charges will apply on orders where Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash has been used to make payment. So Shipping Charges are EXTRA and cannot be paid using Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash.
• CANCELLATION: For any reasons, an order placed using the Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash has been partially modified/cancelled within the validity period, the used-up NMS SuperCash amount will be credited back to the customer’s Netmeds e-wallet account.
• The NMS SuperCash wallet amount is non-replaceable and non-transferrable under any circumstances.
• The NMS SuperCash wallet amount is not redeemable for cash.

 How to redeem Rs. 150 NMS SuperCash?

• Just follow these 3 easy steps to use/redeem your NMS SuperCash, after it has been credited to your Netmeds wallet account.
• Step 1: Add the Medicines to your cart.
• Step 2: At the Cart page, in the right-hand side, check “NMS SuperCash” button and the deduction of your NMS SuperCash will be immediately reflected, at the bottom, under the Payment details heading. Please note: The NMS SuperCash wallet amount can be redeemed only for a maximum of 25% of total value of prescription medicines in your cart in one pre-paid transaction. However, you can use the remaining wallet amount in subsequent transactions placed within the validity period of your NMS SuperCash wallet amount.
• Step 3: Upload/attach Prescription.
• Step 4: Review order and complete payment.

NOTE: NMS cashbacks will NOT be offered for the portion of the payment made using any existing NMS SuperCash wallet balance amount.

Other Terms and Conditions

• Netmeds reserves the right to disqualify or invalidate any individual’s referral reward, which has been obtained through fraud or abuse of this ‘Refer and Earn’ Programme or otherwise in violation of these terms.
• Netmeds also reserves the right to cancel the ‘Refer and Earn’ Programme, change the Referrer/Referred Friend reward or alter the eligibility criteria at any time and, for any reason, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. The Referrer and the Referred Friend/customer will be deemed to have accepted such changes after they are posted.
• The Netmeds ‘Refer and Earn’ Programme is solely intended for personal and non-commercial purposes only, and the referral code may only be shared with your personal contacts or friends.
• The Referrer cannot refer any of existing Netmeds.com customers OR the customers who have already signed up with us.
• Please note: As a maximum of 25 Referral rewardsare only allowed per registered customer, 26th referral or subsequent referrals will not get you any reward from Netmeds in any respect.
• By entering into the Programme, the ‘Referrer’ shall be deemed to have permitted Netmeds to send a message to the friend on his/her behalf, including the Referral code as well as the Netmeds app download link.
• Netmeds.com reserves the right to revise the reward of ‘Referrer’ and/or ‘Referred Friend’ under this Offer at any point of time with or without prior notice to the customers.
• Netmeds.com reserves the right to withdraw the NMS SuperCash from the customers’ wallet account if any fraudulent activity is identified for the sake of availing the benefits under the Programme.
• Netmeds.com is not responsible for any failed transactions as part of this Programme NOR liable for any failures relating to technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other issues of any kind to the extent that these may prevent the Customer from participating/availing the benefits of this Programme.
• Netmeds’ decision shall be final and binding in all circumstances with respect to the matters relating to the Programme.
• By entering into the Programme, both ‘Referrer’ and ‘Referred Friend’ shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Programme.
• The Netmeds Refer & Earn Programme shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of India subject to the jurisdictional courts of Chennai.
